Description
The aim of the project is to improve the often bleak environment in which many refugee children live by decorating refugee institutions and children's centres with bold, colourful murals featuring popular cartoon characters. The emphasis is on involving the children in the process of choosing and creating the designs, with the aim of not merely entertaining the children but also of promoting self-respect, developing artistic talents and encouraging cooperation between children from different ethnic groups.
